On the road again...
A day on the road with our Head of Operations Dan Adams and MD Jamie Hawkings.
Last week we spent some time travelling across the South West visiting a number of current and upcoming schemes for Hawkings Cladding Ltd.
First stop was Weymouth to visit the extension works at the local Premier Inn where we will soon be installing the
Valcan® - Manufacturer of Non-Combustible Cladding Materials Ceramapanel Rainscreen cladding.
It’s always great to be working again with
Carter Lauren Construction Ltd . Our relationship now spans more than 9 years and this will be our eighth project together — including our third Premier Inn scheme. Longstanding partnerships like this are something we are incredibly proud of.
On the journey west we also stopped briefly at our East Quay project in Plymouth that we completed for our valued friends
Obedair
Nick Jeffery ahead of the upcoming one-year defects inspection of the
Swisspearl United Kingdom facade. The building was looking fantastic in the sunshine and is another great example of how well delivered cladding remediation can transform a façade.
The day finished with our first site visit for the new training and development centre for
Plymouth Argyle Football Club where we will be delivering the complete
Etex
EQUITONE UK by Etex and @BTS Facades & Fabrications Feature panel
façade package.
It was great to see the primary structure now complete, with the sacrificial membrane in place ready to be removed ahead of the façade works commencing.
We are excited to be working with
Whitebox Construction Management led by
Ali Staddon &
Muna Sono onsite, and the
Graeme D. who has been fantastic to collaborate with during Pre-Con.
Exciting months ahead with works due to start on site for these two schemes later this month/early April.
