Contracts

Below are a few examples of work that we have carried out, please contact us for anymore information.

University of East Anglia    10.07-10-08

The UEA was the largest rainscreen project we have undertaken so far, the project was student accommodation with new teaching blocks a library and canteen.

The make up of the building exterior consisted of 3600m2 of Trespa and 2400m2 Petrach.

The Trespa was Rivet fixed to an aluminium background system and consisted of 3 colours, white which made up 80 % of the Trespa package and was used in the repetitive pattern, the green which was used for the curved internal and external sections plus the 2 large pop outs and the orange for the Teaching block library and canteen.

The Petrach was Sika fixed and was used for the ground floor finish the Kitchen area’s and 3 sheer walls.

This project also boosts curved Trespa and Petrarch elevations a large cover screen and a petrach finish sloping wall.

The contract duration was 12 months and consisted of 18 rainscreen operatives.

Courtfields Sports Hall     06.08-08.08

Courtfields sports hall was one of the more unusual jobs we have completed, the architect wanted the building to be wave shaped with the Trespa giving the affect of a breaking wave.

The project was 550m2 of Trespa fixed on a timber background, the blue Trespa representing the sea and the gray the sky. The Trespa was fitted at a 45o angle with the majority of panels fitted in full sheets with the rest being cut on-site.

The project now complete is one of the more modern unique buildings we have been involved in.

Priory Place    10.06-03.07

The Priory place project was a mixture of Rainscreen cladding products which consisted of ACM Cassette panels Renabond Sheeting and Terracotta tiles, the building used as Chelmsford Magistrates courts and top 2 floors for Private renting needed a modern look but in keeping with its surroundings.

The bulk of the rainscreen used was an ACM renabond cassette panel which were of all sizes and used between windows and to marry in with the adjoining building which was also made up of a similar cassette panel.

To break up the ACM panels on the road facing elevations large sections of Terracotta tiles were installed with a Feature channel around the exterior this gave the building a very unique signature and set it out from the surrounding buildings.

There were 2 very large facetted canopy soffits installed, the product used was a 4 mm Renabond sheet facetted to suit the vertical glazing. This gave a uniformed look to the building.
